Today's Weight: 206.2
Total Loss: 14.8 pounds

Today was NOT a good day :(  McDonald's for breakfast, a hot dog for lunch, and pizza for dinner makes me want to cry right now as I type this.  Maybe I'll get lucky for tomorrow's weigh in and just maintain rather than have a gain but I really don't deserve that.  I'm glad I'm writing this right now so I'm aware of the bad choices before its a week from now and I've gained all 7 pounds back.  I'm going to remember this feeling tomorrow and make better choices.  Already trying to figure out what I'm going to do about grandma's bisquits and gravy in the morning considering 2 of them are 900 calories!!!

McDonalds Egg McMuffin meal w/coke

Dinner - 900 calories
2 pieces of sausage pizza

Total Calories - 1750 calories

  1. Don't get discouraged. I think sometimes we restrict ourselves so much that we end up having a whole day that we binge, rather than just one meal. Maybe if you plan things like that in advance (ie: Tuesday's are hectic so I will plan McDonalds for breakfast that day; Saturday I'll be running around with my boy so I'll do an easy hot dog lunch that day; etc) you can mitigate the effects by being good the rest of the day and yet still give yourself some "treats" so you don't feel deprived. Face it, food is important to you. Even with as great as you feel about yourself you still love food, it makes you happy and that is OK. You just have to find a way to incorporate a little of what you love into your week or you will end up having whole days like today and then you feel sad and that's not right. As for today, it's over. You can't take it back so just move on. If you have grandma's bicuits tomorrow just plan on lots of veggies the rest of the day.

  2. I agree with Wendie a little. You are allowed to give yourself some leeway once a week. However, with that leeway comes more work. If you really want that McDonald's breakfast & pizza, then before you get it, you should walk 2 miles on the treadmill you have set up already, right?

    The day is gone. I'm sure you made better choices Monday. :) My meal plan is done; I'll send it to you today.
