Day 2.11

Ok, so the b&g must have been crazy calories because I had a 1.4 pound gain today with only eating 2 meals yesterday L  Hoping that the alcohol has something to do with it and the fact that I didn’t drink much water yesterday.  Hopefully it will all balance out tomorrow.  I went to the city today to show Yvonne around before she left to fly back to Seattle so we stopped at Navy Pier for brunch which had absolutely no good choices available.  I had a cheeseburger (no different from a cheeseburger other than the pronunciation).  The heavens were shining on me this morning with the fact that they didn’t sell French fries because I was so tired and discouraged from 2 straight days of weight gains that I would have eaten every one of them.  They had chips instead and I ate maybe 3 or 4 of them and was done.  For dinner I planned to eat the other half of my red robin salad so I could get back on track but instead had 3 pieces of left over pizza!!  I felt so damn guilty after that I threw the rest of the pizza away and went for a walk.  Brandi and I have been talking about possibly doing a half marathon in September which requires you to keep pace at a 13 minute mile.  I thought I would attempt to run a mile today to see where I was to see if it was even realistic for me to run a 13 minute mile 3 months from now.  I found a trail behind my house which I didn’t know was there and it is pretty nice so I went for it and ran a mile in 13:37 L  Not a good starting point but not completely unrealistic.  We’ll see how the next three weeks go of training to see if I can do this.
