Ok, not completely surprised by the gain today because of the pizza but a little disappointed that the run didn’t offset a little more of it. Back to work today so back to a routine thank goodness. I didn’t make it to the grocery store at all this weekend so had no good choices for breakfast. Was able to hold it off by drinking a ton of water when I got to work. I know, I know that isn’t healthy. I am really going to try to make more of an effort to plan ahead so I don’t keep being forced to choose between starving and McDonalds. I know those of you that have read consistently know which one will win! I had subway for lunch which is great at only 330 calories and ensures a good choice for lunch tomorrow since I buy the foot long and use it for 2 lunches. I made tacos for dinner which I think might have been a little high in calories with the hamburger meat but didn’t eat a shell since I’m trying to cut carbs on non-run days. I’m not going to do what I usually do and go to the extreme with the change and attempt zero carbs and then binge the next day with 4000 carbs. I’m going to try something different and at least try to cut carbs out of one meal on non-run days and try to move up from there when I get a handle on it. Today was supposed to be a cross-training day but I was so tired when I got home I did absolutely no exercise other than walk to the park with logan which is probably a half mile there and back so not a good start to that marathon training schedule.
